Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst III
Location: Tennessee Local Candidates Only
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of increasingly complex and responsible experience in the last 12 years
Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) required; advanced degree a plus
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing the analysis and strategic alignment of major State initiatives involving service delivery transformation. This position requires extensive experience in cross-agency collaboration enterprise-level IT planning and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise-level business and system analysis for major initiatives

Serve as a strategic advisor on business process transformation and IT alignment

Develop comprehensive business cases process models and architecture frameworks

Lead multi-agency workshops facilitating collaboration and innovation

Mentor junior analysts and guide project teams on best practices

Ensure alignment with State of Tennessees technology standards and integration goals

Liaise with executive leadership to support statewide digital transformation efforts
Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility

Proven leadership in government or enterprise-scale IT initiatives

Expertise in enterprise architecture system integration and public service optimization

Exceptional communication negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills

Advanced understanding of current and emerging IT trends in the public sector
