Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Install maintain and repair electrical systems wiring switch gear motors and control panels in the food manufacturing plant.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards food industry regulations and company policies.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and production lines.
Monitor and maintain backup power systems like generators and UPS.
Maintain documentation of all maintenance work repairs and inspections.
Support the automation and PLC-controlled systems used in food processing lines.
Work closely with the maintenance production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests during shifts including emergencies.
Requirements
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical certification.
2 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems circuits control panels and safety practices.
Experience with PLC systems sensors motors VFDs and automation equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with GMP HACCP and food safety compliance standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
Willingness to work in shifts and handle urgent breakdowns.
