Sobe Rehab is a leading in-home physical therapy provider in Florida specializing in patient-centered care for individuals recovering from auto accidents. With a network of over 2000 therapists and a medical director on staff we provide fast convenient and compliant therapy services to PIP patients throughout the state.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Auto/PIP Insurance Verification Specialist to build and manage referral partnerships with personal injury law firms chiropractors imaging centers urgent care facilities and other medical providers. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for PIP referral sources and ensure seamless communication and documentation flow to support our patients treatment and claim needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop nurture and maintain referral relationships with PI attorneys MDs DCs and imaging centers.
Educate referral partners on Sobe Rehabs in-home therapy services and the referral process.
Receive process (eligibility & data entry) and track incoming referrals and Letters of Protection (LOPs).
Coordinate with the intake team and medical director to ensure EMC evaluations are scheduled and documented properly.
Follow up on missing or incomplete referral documents.
Maintain regular check-ins with referral sources to ensure satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
Collaborate with billing and legal teams to ensure proper handling of PIP claims.
Track referral performance and generate activity reports for leadership.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in personal injury medical marketing case management or PIP patient services (preferred).
Strong understanding of Florida PIP law and requirements (preferred but trainable).
Excellent communication networking and organizational skills.
Proficient in using CRM or referral tracking software.
Able to travel locally to meet referral sources in person when needed.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole) a plus.
