Are you an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence Join our team as a Maintenance and Renovations Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation safety and upkeep of our facilities.
As the Maintenance and Renovations Supervisor you will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and lead a dedicated team of technicians. Youll manage routine repair tasks coordinate preventative maintenance and supervise apartment renovation projects ensuring quality results timely completion and resident satisfaction.
Supervise daily operations of the maintenance team across the Lakewood Campus
Oversee apartment renovation projects from approval through to completion
Monitor and manage day-to-day repair work orders and preventive maintenance
Delegate tasks based on team skillsets and availability
Coordinate with outside contractors when needed and assess their performance
Provide hands-on support when necessary
Ensure adequate staffing coverage and respond to unscheduled needs
Maintain accurate digital records of all maintenance work
Keep residents and colleagues informed of project statuses
Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotation
Minimum 10 years of experience in a customer-focused maintenance environment
At least 5 years of supervisory experience
Managerial training preferred
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to assess diagnose and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues
Comfortable working under pressure and in varied physical environments (wet confined hot/cold etc.)
Familiarity with electrical systems blueprints and safety standards
Proficient in using IT tools and digital maintenance systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physically able to lift over 25 lbs. climb ladders and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
On your feet or walking up to 80% of the time
Exposure to varying temperatures and working environments
Participation in a rotating on-call schedule including nights weekends and holidays
