Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract and Risk Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing all contract-related activities ensuring compliance with company policies and implementing contract management software to streamline operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of legal terminology risk management principles and corporate governance particularly within the MRO sector.

YOUR TASKS

Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
  • Implementation and Maintenance: Deploy and manage contract management software to effectively organize and track agreements.
  • Contract Lifecycle Oversight: Review draft negotiate and manage contracts service agreements and vendor agreements ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
  • Summarization and Documentation: Create concise summaries of key contractual terms obligations renewal dates and potential risks for stakeholder reference.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all agreements are properly executed stored and monitored in accordance with group company policies.
Risk & Compliance Management
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate contractual risks proposing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with legal regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular contract audits to detect and address discrepancies or potential issues proactively.
  • Dispute Management: Collaborate with legal counsel and internal teams to manage disputes amendments and contract terminations effectively.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Training
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for all contract-related inquiries and issues.
  • Training and Guidance: Develop and deliver training sessions to internal teams on contract management best practices and policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement finance and legal departments to ensure contracts support and align with business objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration or a related field. A legal background is advantageous.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in contract management legal compliance or risk management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with contract management software implementation and utilization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex legal language and distill key points effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the MRO aviation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation communication and organizational abilities.
