Job Description
Regions Hospital is looking for an outstanding Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to join our Outpatient team. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all.
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will provide general leadership and direction for all technician-related activities such as coordinating workflow scheduling evaluation processes new hire training and general direction of technician staff for the accomplishment of department goals. The supervisor will work under the direction and/or supervision of the pharmacy manager to assist in the provision of effective appropriate and safe pharmacy distribution services customer service and related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
- Primarily day Monday-Friday shifts with occasional evening and/or weekend shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Four years of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital community or institutional pharmacy.
- Registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current certification through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the National HealthCareer Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of supervisor or lead experience.
- Business management skills.
- Completion of an accredited program for pharmacy technicians.
Additional Information:
This is a non-union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul MN. The salary range for this position is $55161.60-$82742.40 annually based on experience. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and eligible for benefits.
