Job Description

Job Description
Oversee and control project-related costs ensuring financial accuracy compliance and efficiency throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- BBA major in accounting.
- Five (5) years working as Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing standard cost estimates.
- Experience working with budget actuals variances explanations.
- Experience working with SAP MS Office applications.
Functions:
Costing
- Work with project teams to understand process materials and volume assumptions.
- Prepare cost estimates based on defined scenarios following Companys procedure.
- Estimate impact of CoGS in P&L.
Cost Control
- Prepare reclassification as needed.
- Work with Project team to ensure correct cost allocations to projects
- Monitor actual versus Budget/Forecast and identify any changes to forecast needed.
- Report proactively unfavorable spending trends savings opportunities or other areas of concern.
Government Incentives
- Gather required information for the application to Government Incentives program.
- Work with project team and government partners to maintain records of data that will be required for incentives reimbursement requests.
- Prepare reimbursement requests when appropriate.
