Overall Purpose: Optimizes procurement strategies by managing negotiating monitoring and sourcing vendor and sub-contractor contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations for vendor and sub-contractor contracts manage contract modifications and ensure compliance with terms and conditions to align with organizational goals.
Procurement Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness including market research and sourcing new suppliers.
Vendor and Sub-contractor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and sub-contractors assess performance and handle commercial contract issues including licensing agreements invoicing and receivable issues.
Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential supply chain risks develop mitigation strategies and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws regulations and corporate policies.
Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement: Continuously monitor procurement performance metrics prepare reports for strategic decision-making and identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired. 5 years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
