Senior Embedded Software Engineer
DataPath specializes in designing manufacturing and supporting both custom and commercial-off-the-shelf field communications and information technology products. Our team is growing. We are looking for aSenior Embedded Software Engineerto develop cutting-edge technologies for DataPaths next-generation products and services.
As part of this team you will have the opportunity to make a major impact on the way DataPath develops tests and manufactures its products. Our company philosophy fosters product innovation rapid product iterations and a liberating amount of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of global software projects and develop embedded software solutions for our next-generation networking technology.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle.
- Take responsibility for developing algorithms to control other ecosystem elements like antennas and other communication equipment located on airplanes and ships.
- Help make our vision a reality: Be a part of the development of future products challenging and complex embedded systems.
- Work with a global team of talented and experienced engineers.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- . or higher degree in Computer ScienceElectrical Engineering
- US Citizenship - Must
- 5 years of experience with C programming
- Proven experience with Linux user and kernel space programing.
- Experience with embedded system and hardware integration.
- Experience with ARM/Intel processors in multi core environments.
- Familiar with network protocols and sockets programming.
- Experience with YOCTO Microservices and SDK integrations are big advantages.
