Job Description
Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Reston VA
Salary Range: $120000 - $140000/year (dependent upon experience)
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations for production and manufacturing activities ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) and inventory accounting with a focus on percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
- Utilize accounting software and databases to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and provide strategic insights.
- Implement and manage financial controls and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- 10-15 years of accounting experience with a federal contractor.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in production/manufacturing accounting.
- Experience with Unanet or Deltek-Costpoint is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and other accounting software.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business from an accredited institution.
- High-performing candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
