Responsibilities:
Install maintain and repair electrical systems in residential commercial and occasional industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams
Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
Ability to mentor an apprentice and work in pairs or groups
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Coordinate with team members general contractors and clients as needed
Complete daily documentation and communicate progress to supervisors
Qualifications:
Valid State of Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (License A or B)
3 years of hands-on electrical experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
OSHA 10-Hour Certification required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic dependability and a commitment to safety
Proficiency with Field Pulse or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems preferred
