We are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join the North American Network S&OP Team. NA Network S&OP plays a crucial role in shaping and optimizing Amazons operations concentrating on planning the flow of inventory within the supply chain network. We have exciting opportunities to lead strategic initiatives and drive process improvements within Amazons supply chain network.
In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Operations Supply Chain Product and program teams in SCOT FBA NACF Finance and more. You will utilize your analytical skillset to identify opportunities for process improvements implement scalable systems and drive automation to enhance efficiency and plan accuracy. Your impact will be visible ongoing and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth. The ideal candidate will not only have strong analytical skills and operational acumen they will also be able to present and visualize data in a succinct manner and craft concise and comprehensive verbal and written narratives to influence executive decisions.
Key job responsibilities - Lead the S&OP process for the North American network driving alignment with input providers and stakeholders - Analyze demand forecasts inventory levels and supply capacity to identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks - Utilize data and analytics to optimize the distribution network reduce inventory costs and improve service levels - Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements and new supply chain initiatives - Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on supply chain strategy and resource allocation
About the team The NA Network Planning S&OP team has an unambiguous responsibility to ensure that published S&OP plans reflect the most likely inbound and outbound demand for our network. We partner with teams in SCOT FBA and NACF to generate the weekly S&OP plan the basis of labor planning and steering decisions for ASIN movement through Amazons fulfillment network.
- 5 years of program or project management experience - 5 years of supply chain experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience - Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
