Job Description
We are looking for an experiencedSenior Java Developerwith 8 years of professional experience in designing and developing robust scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies cloud architecture and modern application design with a passion for clean maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Build consume and document RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support various business needs.
- Drive technical discussions mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.
- Implement and maintain scalable microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure application performance security and reliability across all stages of development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Deep understanding of Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security and Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong experience with REST APIs JSON and web application architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases such as Oracle PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) including cloud-native architecture and components such as load balancers API gateways service discovery and monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch).
- Skilled in build and automation tools (Maven/Gradle Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving communication and team collaboration skills.

Pay Range $104650.00 - $189175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
