Foreclosure and Eviction Mediation Program Administrator

Job Location: Madison County Courthouse - Edwardsville IL

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $25.87 / hourly

Job Shift: Day Shift / Court Operational Hours

Job Category: Circuit Court Non-Union / Judicial

Description:

Qualifications: A bachelors degree with at least two years of experience and/or training in law and mediation highly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AS400 required

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to questions and provide information about the programs
  • Open new mediation files and maintain confidential files for each case
  • Verify homeowners have submitted all necessary information to be screened for mediation
  • Schedule pre-mediation conferences for eligible cases
  • Provide subsequent mediation notices and information to both parties in a timely manner
  • Oversee pre-mediation conferences and subsequent pre-mediation statuses
  • Facilitate communication between the parties between pre-mediation hearings
  • Confirm that both parties have exchanged all necessary documents
  • Schedule and coordinate mediations with the parties and a mediator for cases that require full mediation
  • Organize training for mediators and keep an up-to-date list of mediators
  • Ensure that mediators receive all relevant documents before mediation takes place
  • Collect mediators reports and file them with the Court
  • Collect evaluations and data about program results
  • Submit quarterly reports to the judiciary compile and organize data to submit to the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts
  • Attend foreclosure and eviction first appearance dockets
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
