With a transdisciplinary focus AIS teaching assistants also integrate innovative learning strategies while working with a diverse student population.


JOB PURPOSE
The Early Years French Teaching Assistant collaborates with 2 full-time teachers in a classroom for 3 and 4-year-olds. Teaching assistants help in implementing curriculum and offer ideas and suggestions regarding classroom instruction. Teaching assistants foster an intentionally inclusive atmosphere where all students feel a sense of belonging through the lens of inquiry in a play-based environment.

Position Status: 10-month employee
AIS Position Status: Teaching Assistant
Hours per week: 40 hours (Full-time)
FLSA: Exempt
Reports to: Head of Primary School
Start Date: July 28 2025
