Job Description

Do you thrive in multitasking and problem solving within a fast-paced environment If so we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Power Plant Planner to join our Maintenance Planning team at Fayette Power Project! In this role you will be able to utilize your electrical maintenance experience in various daily functions. Your responsibilities include processing daily work orders creating job plans maintaining PMs estimating costs generating requisitions outlining scopes of work sourcing parts scheduling outages and managing the maintenance backlog. You will be trusted to:

- Develop job plans/work scopes for core maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Work with maintenance safety environmental and engineering staff to develop and update planned and preventative maintenance for plant equipment.
- Purchase equipment and materials by use of a ProCard in accordance with approved supply management processes and procedures. Review and sign off on invoices as warranted.
- Develop scopes of work for outside services. Evaluate bids recommend best evaluated bidders and develop recommendations for management approval.
- Perform work by traveling independently or with other staff to other locations as necessary to gather information for job planning and/or to support where additional resources are needed.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in industrial (power petrochemical pulp/paper steel etc) plant operations maintenance or engineering or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in power generation engineering business science math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

You are a great fit with:

- Experience in operating and maintaining conventional gas and coal fired power plants
- Experience in maintenance planning principles including work package development and PM development.
- Experience with Maximo
- Experience with inventory and parts staging
