What to Expect:
The Lead Service Technician is responsible for providing technical direction and assistance to elevator personnel in servicing elevators escalators and other vertical transportation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in training elevator technician staff.
- Supports company safety program which includes performing safety audits when necessary and stressing the importance of safety to all employees.
- Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure the work is being completed efficiently.
- Identifies issues that could potentially affect the overall reliability of the customers equipment.
- Works with branch manager to address customers needs.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal state and local elevator industry code requirements.
- Maintains strong familiarity of industry products by reviewing equipment updates and supplier goods.
- Assists in conducting inspection of elevators and related devices to ensure their effective and efficient operation and conformance to safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of elevator service experience required
- Elevator mechanic license
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Able to bend stretch push pull and move as needed to reach clean and service elevators
- Must be able to visually inspect elevators
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record
