Job Summary:

Thisassignment performs the full range of basic tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of District buildings. Substitute custodians will be placed on an on-call list. When substitute custodians are called they will be told which building to report to who to report to and what time to report.

Salary:

$130/day- No Benefits

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Certificate of good health by a licensed physician

Experience as a school custodian or equivalent in custodial service in other institutions and/or firms a plus

Willingness to cooperate in a positive and friendly manner with staff students and members of the public

Proven ability to communicate effectively with the Principal Head Custodian and Custodial and Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

Provide students and staff with a safe clean and attractive environment

General cleaning of assigned areas of responsibility

Cleaning of other assigned areas
