Security Shift Supervisor- Security Systems Department

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound 4400 Long Prairie Rd TX 75028
Work hours: Full Time Rotating for 40 hrs/week.

Heres What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Associates Degree is preferred
- 2 Years security law enforcement or military police is required and
- 2 Years healthcare or education security is preferred
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 14 Days is required And
- ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And
- DL - Drivers License Class C and must be insurable 120 Days is required And
- TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required
- Excellent customer service skills. Effective management skills and techniques. Good verbal and written communication skills evidenced by demeanor and previous training. Basic computer skills with MS Office and other industry-driven software.
- Knowledge of industry standards including but not limited to ASIS IAHSS TJC Medicare OSHA State of Texas DPS. Knowledge of continuous improvement and change management.
- Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.
- Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.
What You Will Do
- Leads security briefings for officers and distributes equipment
- Patrols buildings and ground for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry.
- Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
- Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas
- Orientates new employees
