The Low Latency Engineering Group at G-Research is responsible for providing and evolving a low-latency platform.
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our Colo Infrastructure team within Low Latency Engineering. You will help build high performance and highly available network solutions for colocation and low latency environments.
G-Research fosters a DevOps culture with a particular focus on automation. We want engineers that can absorb new technologies and drive the future technology direction in collaboration with teams and individuals across the business.
Who are we looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Managing global WAN solutions
- Cloud connectivity
- Low latency networks
- Timing solutions using GPS PTP NTP and PPS
- Packet capture solutions including optical taps SPAN tap aggregation and timestamping
- Packet Analysis using Wireshark
- Interconnecting for market data and order entry in exchange collocations
- Multicast configuration and troubleshooting
- Network Monitoring solutions including SNMP gNMI Prometheus Grafana
- Automation tools including Git Python Golang Jenkins Terraform and Ansible
