Job Description
2 Full-Time Night Awake Direct Support Professional Positions
Hourly rate: $24.68
10 hour shifts 10:00pm to 8:00am includes every second weekend
Closing date: June 28 2025
Approximate Start date: August 3 2025
Direct Support Professional(DSP)employeeswork with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully Support Professionals recognizepeoples rights to direct their life understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs andtheysupport people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Preferred:
- Developmental Services Worker Child and Youth Worker or post-secondary education in a related field
- Computer Skills: Windows Word Excel Email etc
- Experience with behaviour supports
- Experience with medical support
- Support for people with mental health diagnoses.
Ability Preferred:
- Current Safe Management
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Able to perform CPR
- Able to provide personal care which may include lifting bending and/or twisting
- Must be prepared to prepare meals following the Canadian Health/Food Guide
- Cleaning
