Job Description
- Location: Frisco TX 75034
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Provide 24/7 trauma surgery coverage in a Level I/II trauma center environment.
- Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
- Participate in trauma call rotation.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including emergency physicians intensivists and specialists.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions procedures and outcomes.
- Participate in trauma quality improvement programs and morbidity/mortality reviews.
- Supervise and mentor residents advanced practice providers (APPs) and medical students as applicable.
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) Required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery Required
- Fellowship-trained in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas Required
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification Required
- Prior experience working in a high-volume trauma center
