Assist the HR Manager in driving engagement and retention strategies.
Champion employee well-being and a positive workplace culture.
Support performance appraisal activities and feedback collection.
Help line managers identify development needs based on reviews.
Contribute to performance improvement planning.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the factory.
Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Support policy development communication and implementation.
Prepare and submit HR reports and documentation as required.
Coordinate delivery of training programs and staff workshops.
Assist in identifying training needs and developing materials.
Monitor training effectiveness and provide improvement feedback.
Support payroll and benefits administration.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all entitlements.
Lead the digitization of key HR processes: leave management employee self-service and onboarding systems.
Supervise Time Clerks and ensure accurate time and attendance tracking.
Monitor clock-ins/outs overtime and absenteeism.
Address discrepancies in attendance and work hours in line with company policy.
Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or related field.
3 5 years of HR experience preferably within the FMCG industry.
HR certification (e.g. CIPM HRCI) is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of HR principles practices and Nigerian employment laws.
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Demonstrated people management skills.
