QANTM Intellectual Property Pty Ltd (QANTM) is the owner of leading intellectual property (IP) businesses operating in Australia New Zealand Singapore Malaysia and Hong Kong under the following key brands Davies Collison Cave Group FPA Patent Attorneys and Sortify. With approximately 400 employees across its businesses the QANTM group of businesses have a strong track record in providing IP services to a broad range of Australian and international clients ranging from start-up technology businesses to Fortune 500 multinationals public research institutions and universities.

To spearhead this growth QANTM has a new People and Culture Business Partner role for one of its practice areas and its corporate functions. The role sits within one of its key brands Davies Collison Cave.

About the role

Collaborating closely with senior leaders you provide advice and guidance across the following key areas:

Strategic P&C Partnership

  • Collaborate with Principals to understand the practices strategic and business goals and develop People & Culture strategies to support them.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Facilitate the implementation of P&C programs and initiatives particularly learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and empowering workplace culture that supports the firms Values

Talent Management

  • Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives as well as the annual remuneration review process.
  • Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance management processes including goal setting feedback and performance reviews.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee matters providing guidance and resolution.Promote a positive work environment through conflict resolution and mediation upholding the firms Values.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse P&C metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.Prepare and present reports on P&C activities and trends to leadership. Utilise data to identify areas for improvement and track the impact of P&C initiatives.

About You

  • Bring experience in both a strategic and operational advisory role.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a Business Partner role ideally in professional services environment.
  • Experience in HR best practice talent management and employee relations.
  • Skilled at influencing across all levels and managing organisational change.
  • Action oriented with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Are a team player with a drive to create a positive work environment
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
