Join our team as a CNC Programmer where youll provide critical programming support for machining parts tools and sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools. Your expertise will ensure parts meet precise dimensional specifications while maximizing equipment efficiency.
Program Development: Write machine instructions in symbolic language to encode numerical control tapes or direct numerical control databases regulating machine movement along cutting paths.
Tool Selection: Choose optimal cutting tools based on speeds feeds cutter types and control system limitations to produce parts safely and economically.
Efficiency Optimization: Select program routines for efficient calculation of machining requirements including angular/linear dimensions radii and operation sequences.
Blueprint Analysis: Determine cut dimensions tool selection speeds and feeds by reviewing engineering drawings and design data.
Precision Layouts: Prepare geometric layouts (manually or via CAD/CAM software) to indicate reference points and cutting paths.
Program Refinement: Modify existing programs for engineering updates or enhancements correcting errors to ensure accuracy.
Quality Verification: Conduct trial runs compare outputs with original programs and validate machine instructions.
Process Improvement: Recommend cost-saving changes support lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute to special projects.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry advancements through workshops and technical publications.
Team Collaboration: Assist cross-functional teams and take on project-based assignments as needed.
