Job Description
The Data Analytic Intern works closely with the team to support their projects. In this role you will report to the Director of Analytics and Engineering.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Preserve/advance a simple SQL server environment with complex data from a setup and maintenance perspective
Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
Maintain and envision the architecture of data within the environment
Write T-SQL jobs/Stored procedures for ETL of data
Test for data integrity issues
Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Ability to write queries with the T-SQL Language for SQL Server
Understanding and ability to act on database terminology such as blockings indexing parallelism log shipping linked servers etc.
Ability to convert complex concepts into basic tables to be used in reporting
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelors degree required
Microsoft database certifications a plus
3-5 years of experience recommended
