The Maintenance & Reliability Manager is a key leadership role responsible for directing and standardizing maintenance operations across DuBois Chemicals North America manufacturing sites and managing the maintenance resources across DuBois Chemicals three Ohio manufacturing sites.

This position is accountable for driving uptime preventive and predictive maintenance spare parts strategies and inventory management for DuBois North American manufacturing network. This role defines and implements company-wide reliability strategies including CMMS deployment root cause analysis processes and reliability-centered maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Maintenance Leadership

  • Lead all site maintenance teams across three Ohio facilities ensuring consistent performance safety and adherence to best practices.
  • Coordinate resources and priorities across locations to ensure maximum equipment uptime and maintenance efficiency.
  • Provide support during facility breakdowns ensuring fast response proper escalation and root cause resolution.

Reliability Engineering & Strategy

  • Develop and execute reliability engineering programs including:
    • Preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
    • Reliability-centered maintenance
    • Asset lifecycle management
    • Breakdown prevention and structured root cause analysis
  • Define and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across the network.
  • Establish central reliability processes and documentation standards.

CMMS Implementation & Systems

  • Define and lead the implementation of the company-wide Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure standardization of work order processes maintenance schedules asset tracking and performance analytics.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for site users and maintenance staff on CMMS usage and reporting.

Spare Parts & MRO Management

  • Lead network-wide spare parts strategy including critical spares identification storage optimization and standardization.
  • Drive accurate inventory tracking and integration with D365 ERP system.
  • Partner with procurement and planning teams to optimize MRO spend reduce lead times prevent stockouts and develop and maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships.

Facilities & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and local regulations related to maintenance and facilities operations.
  • Conduct and support regular safety inspections audits and reporting.
  • Active involvement in the Safety Committee: champion maintenance-related EHS initiatives.

Capital Planning & Continuous Improvement

  • Support and recommend capital investments for facility and asset upgrades.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on uptime cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associates degree in Engineering Applied Science or a related technical field required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance reliability engineering or project management in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPMM (Certified Plant Maintenance Manager AFE) or an equivalent certification such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP SMRP) is desired.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices reliability tools and TPM principles.
  • Experience implementing and managing CMMS systems and asset management tools.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance environmental regulations and industrial safety practices.
  • Effective leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Regular travel to each Ohio site required. Occasional travel to other North American sites for network initiatives.
