Job Description
Wholesale Logistics Coordinator
Our client in Portsmouth RI is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist. The company is a leading Seafood Importer and Wholesale Distributor based; sourcing products from some of the worlds most pristine regions theyre committed to delivering high-quality safe sustainable and fully traceable frozen seafood with impeccable customer service. Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with multiple suppliers ensuring good pricing availability and quality.
- Tracking inventory
- Bookkeeping
- Manage multiple truck contracts and deliveries ensuring that the deliveries are prioritized and delivered on time. The products details are essential as are trucking company bids and schedule commitments.
- Evaluate incoming containers by checking for errors or inconsistencies with the product.
- Document and coordinate the full order cycle to ensure a smooth process from shipping to receiving.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of QuickBooks & Excel is required
- Experience with inventory itemization is a plus
- Bachelors Degree required
Hours and Pay:
- Full-time (In-Person)
- M-F 8-hour shift
- 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
- $50000.00 - $60000.00 per year depending on experience
