Under the direction of the Operations Manager the incumbent provides high level support to the Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) front office by delivering customer service coordinating administrative support for all PTS departments and overseeing special projects. Also supports PTS promotional activities and directly supports the Director of PTS and Parking Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills with a strong ability to coordinate projects set up meetings and supervise students effectively. Proficient in customer operating systems and Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word Outlook and Teams. Exceptional written communication and data entry accuracy as well as strong organizational skills that enable to manage multiple priorities independently in fast-paced environments. Adept at maintaining confidentiality establishing and sustaining effective working relationships and proactively researching and resolving issues with minimal supervision. Experience with automated systems including a preference for PeopleSoft and consistently demonstrate reliability and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to five years of administrative support experience required.
Previous experience working at a university preferred.
BA degree preferred.

Valid CA Drivers License required.
Employees who are required to operate motorized vehicles and/or use their personal vehicle more than once a month on university business are required to take a mandatory Defensive Driving course and enroll in the DMV Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4058 - $6653 per month.
