Job Description

Department at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital. Serves as key operational contact with responsibilities to manage the operational and administrative aspects of the Program. Works collaboratively with both department leaders and clinical representatives to develop and systematically coordinate the Programs operations. Provides project management and process improvement support to the Clinical Informatics Department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensures Lurie Childrens Documentation Standards and Policies are up to date and reflect Billing and Compliance standards Epic standards and align with available functionality & Foundation System standards.
  • Facilitates Documentation Optimization work leading core team of Notes Ninjas and Informaticists in standardizing documentation practices in accordance with standards.
  • Performance management of Documentation Optimization initiatives & adherence to standard templates.
  • Leads annual downtime template review and maintenance.
  • Coordinates and leads Clinical Informatics Annual Documentation Projects.
  • Performance management of annual goals and metrics for documentation initiatives.
  • Implements and provides ongoing support of AI documentation tools.
  • In collaboration with Department leadership develops and implements processes conducts research as needed and makes program recommendations and assists in the development of Department policies and procedures.
  • Oversees key operational aspects of the program and participates in the development and deployment of new functions and processes.
  • Constantly seeks new and creative ways to improve the quality service and systems within the Department.
  • Develops executes and manages detailed project and work plans schedules and status reports.
  • Works effectively with multiple levels of organizational staff from front line to senior leaders.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree in information technology Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years project management experience required. Ability to manage assigned projects to specified budget and timeline with minimal supervision. Must be able to prioritize organize and assess work in order to meet aggressive deadlines and cope in fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience installing/supporting applications and systems analysis/design and integration/design. Experience in a healthcare related field preferred.
  • Prefer 2-3 years business experience in the areas of healthcare planning marketing product line management and/or business development.
  • Prefer 2-3 years experience managing remote patient monitoring programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical ability: ability to understand and interpret financial data; solid quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Self-motivated; strong customer service oriented; team attitude.
  • Excellent analytical written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate facts and ideas clearly and concisely. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and clearly articulate potential solutions.
  • Assertive and entrepreneurial personality.

Pay Range

$110240.00-$181896.00 Salary

At Lurie Childrens we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity reflecting individual contributions experience and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
