You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe City of Seattle is seeking a Capital Projects Manager and Supervisor (Manager II General Government) to lead a capital project management team that delivers major maintenance (MM) projects. This position is in the Capital Development (CD) Division and reports to the Deputy Director of Project Management.
CD is a facilities projects planning and delivery office responsible for facilities master planning space planning design and construction for FASs 100 building portfolio as well as providing facility capital delivery services to other City Departments and supporting FAS Field Operations with complex maintenance projects. The annual CD capital portfolio includes over 100 projects and a total spend of $60 million.
This position is responsible for delivering major maintenance projects and overseeing other project management staff delivering major maintenance projects. This person will work on facilities capital planning asset management projects preliminary engineering studies design and construction of a variety of projects in City-owned facilities. This positions direct project management workload will consist of high visibility projects while also overseeing project managers delivering additional projects.

The 500-plus employees of FAS span across 10 divisions and work behind-the-scenes providing critical functions like managing 120 City facilities-including police and fire stationsoverseeing the Citys neighborhood customer service centers and Customer Service Bureau and making sure minority-owned businesses can equitably compete for City contracts. This position is classified as a Manager 2 General Government. The full salary range for this job classification is $54.60 - $81.93 per hour. The starting salary will depend upon qualifications and expected learning curve. This position is FLSA exempt (not eligible for overtime) and is Civil Service.
