As a Risk Audit/Loss Prevention Specialist you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risk by reviewing investigating and processing account activity across various internal systems. Youll help protect the integrity of our merchant services platform by ensuring proper release of funds maintaining regulatory compliance and monitoring high-risk merchants.
Monitor daily merchant transaction exceptions
Assess and gather additional information to make sound business decisions
Process daily release of funds via suspense system
Update online systems with account status and contact customers to review policies and procedures
Maintain departmental spreadsheets of data for reporting purposes. Reports include Audit Log-Monthly summary of all accounts investigated
Member Alert to Control High-Risk Merchants
Update merchant matches and placements on Terminated Merchant File
Input information into systems like Proprietary Merchant System Suspense System Loss Prevention Online SAM Vital and FDR regarding account status and investigation notes
You must be flexible in working additional hours in the evening holidays and weekends
HS/GED AND 2 years of relevant experience
Customer service experience
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Competently analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate recommendations
Committed to meeting quality standards
Trusted to keep sensitive information secure
Must be 18 years of age or older
Associate Degree
Card issuer or merchant acquirer experience
Listen and respond effectively to customers
