Airbus Cybersecurity School is a unique initiative.
Airbus offers you a work-study contract covering both your training at the Airbus Cybersecurity School (in partnership with Ynov Campus Toulouse) and your apprenticeship at Airbus.
This opportunity is open only to students who have completed their Bachelor: Cybersecurity analyst in the aeronautical sector (Bac 3) with the Airbus Cybersecurity School and who wish to pursue their academic journey for an additional two years with the Masters degree programme (RNCP certification level 7).

Airbus Cybersecurity School
Airbus offers you the opportunity to follow a comprehensive and immersive cybersecurity in aeronautics work-study apprenticeship programme which means alternating between being a student of the Airbus Cybersecurity School and being part of our operational teams (Digital & IM Corporate Security etc.).

Your apprenticeship
An apprenticeship offer entitled Apprentice embedded network security architecture - SeL4 & Yocto study (M/F) has just opened within Airbus PROTECT on its Blagnac site.
You will join the IT / Product A&SD department in charge of supporting customers in the architecture security topics. You will join one of the 4th security architecture team and will be included in a team of 14 members.
This apprenticeship will start in September 2025 and will last for 2 years.
This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognised authorities.
Tasks and responsibilities
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities:
SeL4 is an open-source microkernel with formally proven security properties.
As a microkernel it is a preferred solution for use in embedded systems. Airbus Protect would like to gain knowledge about SeL4 through the following activities carried out as part of an end-of-study internship:
Theoretical study of the nature of the proofs given by seL4: what properties are proven and how
Mock-up: building a system based on seL4 using its security features: for example using partitioning to separate a web application from its database.
Kernel evolution: how to play the evidence in the case of kernel evolutions to show that the security properties are preserved despite these evolutions
You will develop Security Architecture within security by design & network security problematics.
You will also finalise test and lessons learned form Yocto solutions in the continuity of the previous apprenticeship topic
Design specification according to Airbus methodologies in progress at the aircraft design office
Development and testing of a demonstrator
Key deliverables
Security architecture report with related risks assessment
Lessons Learned on Yocto study & tests
Proof of Concept of Sel4 for embedded architecture
Documentation around Sel4 for embedded architecture
Skills & prerequisites
You have completed your Bachelor: Cybersecurity analyst in the aeronautical sector (Bac 3) with the Airbus Cybersecurity School.
You will develop the following skills:
Product architecture skills :
Knowledge of network technology (switch router DNS TCP/IP)
Knowledge of network security principles (Firewall Proxy Probe)
Knowledge of system administration
Knowledge of system hardening
Knowledge of micro kernel based architecture system
Basic knowledge of scripting (powsershell/Bash) and/or development (python SQL) and/or DevOps tools (Github)
Soft skills:

Language skills
English: advanced (as the classes are taught partly in English candidates must have an advanced level of English)
French: fluent
