About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MDM Data Architect who will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and managing the architecture of our master data management (MDM) system. This role is critical in ensuring that our organizations data is consistent accurate and accessible across all business units .

What youll do:

• Data Architecture: Develop and maintain a scalable and efficient data architecture for the master data management system including defining data models data flow and integration points with other systems. Create and maintain data architecture framework. Guide data modelers to implement standards.
• Data Integration: Design and implement integration strategies to ensure consistent and accurate sharing of master data across different systems and applications through Event-Driven architecture.
• Data Quality Management: Implement processes and tools to monitor and improve the quality of master data. Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality consistency and security. Collaborate with data stewards and other stakeholders to uphold data governance standards.
• Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate and select MDM tools and technologies that align with organizational needs. Lead the implementation and configuration of selected MDM tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business units IT teams and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the MDM system meets these needs.
• Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to MDM architecture including data models and integration specifications. Establish and enforce standards for data management.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the MDM system to ensure it meets organizational requirements for speed and efficiency.

What youll need:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Information Technology Data Science or a related field equivalent work experience
• 10 Years experience in the technical field with 3 years of demonstrated experience as an MDM Data Architect.
• A strong implementation experience of data architecture data modeling and data governance practices.
• Hands on experience with MDM Solution tools on mastering deduping standardization and enrichment processes.
• Strong knowledge in building event-driven architecture using AWS services such as EventBridge Kinesis SQS Lambda API Gateway etc.
• Good knowledge of cloud technology AWS Azure and exposure to cloud tools.
• Proficiency in SQL PL/pgSQL Python RDS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (AWS DynamoDB)
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
