Job Description
THE POSITION

Prince Gallitzin State Park is seeking a passionate individual committed to maintaining the parks facilities ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for visitors to unwind and engage in recreational activities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will engage in advanced-level tasks across multiple trades related to the maintenance repair and construction of park infrastructure including buildings facilities and equipment. This role encompasses a range of skilled activities in various trades such as building mechanical electrical plumbing welding and masonry all aimed at ensuring the effective upkeep and enhancement of park properties. Additionally you may be called upon to assist in the operation of water and sewer facilities as necessary. Under the guidance of a supervisor you will be responsible for liaising with vendors to obtain price quotes calculating the costs of materials and equipment estimating the labor hours needed for project completion and preparing necessary documentation for supervisory review and approval. Furthermore you will take on a leadership role guiding Park Maintenance Workers Laborers and other staff members throughout the execution of various projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- Days off vary with rotating weekends in the winter primarily a Monday - Friday schedule.
Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building electrical or mechanical trades;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges Skills and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Drivers License.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currently waivedfor this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
