Job Description
N-iX is looking for a Middle DevOps (GCP) Engineer to join our team! Our client handles delivering standard software products to support a wide range of conveyor and sortation solutions warehouse automation and distribution operations. As a DevOps automation engineer you will have hands-on responsibility for designing deploying configuring and keeping the critical tools used by software development teams across the globe to efficiently release software to our customers. This involves all aspects of the software delivery process/pipeline such as source code management build tools/process packaging and binary storage bundle generation deployment and implementation customization process. You will also handle understanding how teams work and removing any system impediments to team productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Administration on support of GCP infrastructure & Terraform (new resource deployment).
- Creation of Python/Bash automation scripts.
- SonarQube & Jenkins related tasks support.
- Day-to-day communication with a client.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in enterprise DevOps automation engineering.
- Deep technical knowledge of DevOps tools including some subset of Google Cloud Ansible Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Experience with creating PowerShell Bash or Python scripts for system maintenance activities.
- An understanding of continuous methodologies for integrations builds deployments delivery etc.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal written white-boarding and presentation.
- Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.
- Ability to work with teams to remove impediments and support continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science College Diploma in Information Technology would be beneficial but equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
- Good communication skills in English verbal and written.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher Ukrainian level.
