Job Description
Position: High School Academic Counselor
Employment Type: 0.3 FTE
Start Date - August 22 2025
Salary Range: $16500 - $28 500 (dependent on education/certificate and experience)
Unity Christian School is located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack British Columbia. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Academic Counselor for theschool year. As an integral member of our team you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christ-centered welcoming and engaging learning environment for our students.
The role of the Academic Counselor is to assist with student course selection and timetabling as well as supporting students in their college and career planning.

Each candidate must be:
- a committed Christian
- a BC certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
- dedicated to Christian education.
- a current cover letter and resume (including at least 2 professional references with phone numbers/emails)
- your BC Teachers Certificate or equivalent if youre from out of province
- university transcripts if available (copies are acceptable)
