Job Description
- Prepare patients for examinations including taking vital signs recording medical history and ensuring patient readiness.
- Assist physicians and midwives with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and address concerns.
- Perform technical tasks such as collecting specimens administering injections and conducting point-of-care testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
- Collaborate with the practice manager and healthcare team to meet patient satisfaction and operational goals.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Prior experience in an OBGYN or midwifery practice.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to start with minimal training and adapt quickly to practice workflows.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Passion for delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
