Job Description
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) the nations largest ENT practice with over 50 locations throughout New York and New Jersey is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Externs to join our team!
Our Audiology Department offers an outstanding externship experience providing a comprehensive range of audiology services for all ages. As an extern at ENTA you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment alongside experienced audiologists renowned otolaryngologists and otologists.
$45000/annum
Externship Highlights:
Our fast-paced offices will ensure you gain extensive experience in the following areas:
- Diagnostic audiological testing for pediatrics and adults
- Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)
- Vestibular testing (VNG)
- Electrocochleography
- Hearing aid evaluations fittings follow-ups and troubleshooting with multiple hearing aid manufacturers
- Ear plug fitting and dispensing
- Auditory osseointegrated device fitting and dispensing (availability varies by location)
- Establishing rapport with patients gathering patient history and counseling on all the above services
Educational Opportunities:
Throughout the year externs will have access to numerous educational opportunities exclusive to our extern class. Externs are also invited to all audiologists training and events.
Placement and Compensation:
Externs will be primarily placed at one or two offices chosen to maximize their learning experience. For a list of all of our locations go to This is a paid externship with the potential for full-time employment as an audiologist upon licensure.
