JOB SUMMARY:
The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician is embedded within the primary care teams and works directly with the teams to assess individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges and provides brief treatment services within the primary care setting. The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians goals are to help improve recognition treatment and management of behavioral health and medical conditions in the population. The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician applies the biopsychosocial model to the primary care setting and demonstrates a basic knowledge of pharmacotherapy. The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician works as a consultant to the primary care teams.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION:
Has unrestricted access to clinical records assigned to caseload. Must follow State and Federal Laws of confidentiality of Clinical Records and must follow CCAP policies and procedures for the creation protection retention release and disposal of Clinical Records. All staff are expected to demonstrate cybersecurity awareness and adhere to best practices. This includes familiarity with phishing emails creating strong passwords and participating in regular cybersecurity training sessions.
