Job Description
Community Youth Ministries (CYM) of Reedley CA is looking to hire a part-time Expanded Learning Program (ELP) Site Lead. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM (ELP) High School SITE LEAD
- 48 completed college units OR a paraeducator certificate
- 3-5 years of ELP Experience
- Excellent administrative skills are a priority
- Spanish speaker preferred
- Leadership ability
- 5-day availability during program hours- (see schedules below)
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM (ELP) High School SITE LEAD
As an ELP High School Site Lead you help ensure a safe environment for students during the expanded learning program hours through academic support and enrichment activities during out of school hours.
You continually promote our program and recruit students to maintain sustainability. Your job is highly collaborative. You cultivate relationships with parents school admin/ staff CYM staff and applicable granting agencies. Your supportive and upbeat energy helps students and staff alike feel confident and capable. As a role model you set a good example at all times. Your attention to detail and ability to meet timelines are highly valued. You feel great about encouraging staff and students by providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential in order to create stronger students stronger families and stronger communities!
Previous site lead experience is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring others Are you organized and able to effectively prioritize and delegate tasks Do you have exceptional organizational communication and interpersonal skills Do you resolve conflicts in a positive and restorative manner Are you flexible and able to adapt to different learning levels and Common Core requirements If so you might just be perfect for this High School Expanded Learning Program (ELP) Site Lead position!
PART-TIME WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time education enrichment leadership position typically works up to 5.75 hours/day Monday through Friday following the district academic calendar.
Summer school schedule: 11:00 am - 4:45 pm
School schedule hours: 12:15 pm - 6:00 pm.
