Emergency Department

Are you a skilled ED Technician If so join our Emergency Department team of professionals at Jefferson Healthcare! Under the guidance of an RN or physician you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the triage care and treatment of patients of all ages with various illnesses and injuries. As our ED Technician you will also serve as a vital link between members of the healthcare team patients and their families. We are looking for a proactive individual who can anticipate the needs of patients and team members and perform their duties within the scope of their practice. Schedule: Per Diem; 0-16 hours/week; Variable Shift; 12 hour shifts

What youll need:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • AHA BLS/CPR certification required
  • WA State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R) Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C) Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) or EMT required
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; as a condition of employment application for MA-Phlebotomist Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire.
  • ED or urgent care experience preferred
  • Recent emergency department urgent care EMT EMT-B or related medical experience providing direct patient care preferred
