As a Sr. Security Analyst primary duty is to act as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for multiple Intelligence Community (IC) programs

What You Will Do

  • Understand interpret and enforce government directives and company security policies providing direction and guidance to employees and visitors.
  • Provide attention to detail in dealing with prime contractors and government customers using problem solving and organizational skills in an ever changing very fast paced environment.
  • Interface with administration and maintain a liaison with prime government customers to include Government Program Security Officers (GPSO) as well as providing subcontractor security support as needed.
  • Author edit and submit Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Operation Security Instructions Program Protection Plans Transportation and Security Education Plans based on government guidance.
  • Understand and interpret Security Classification Guides for multiple programs providing guidance to employees.
  • Participate in Program staff meetings program administration reviews Program Monthly Reviews (PMRs) and Government and Contractor Security Working Groups in support of Intelligence Community Programs.
  • Perform alternate COMSEC custodian duties to include operating and caring for the local COMSEC account
  • Handle receive control store inventory transfer package ship track and destroy material and equipment in accordance with government directives and procedures.
  • Conduct self-inspections and periodic audits to ensure accuracy of documentation and equipment sending written reports to the Customer.
  • Provide after-hours support to the mission on a rare but as needed basis.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 2 years relevant experience OR in absence of a degree 6 years relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM ICD 705 or experience working in a classified environment.

Qualifications we Prefer

  • Experience working with Intelligence Community Customers
  • CPSO and/or COMSEC experience
  • Customer service-oriented possessing excellent interpersonal skills the ability to make sound decisions and take self-guided action to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and visitors.
  • Must be able to work in an adaptable multi-faceted environment.
  • Must display a professional demeanor and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral communications providing face to face Security briefings.

  • Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
