THE POSITION
Lead a group of professional staff and help support the Office of Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP)! We are seeking an independent highly driven and responsible professional to join our team as a Human Services Program Executive 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Human Services Program Executive 1 you will serve as the Chief of the Division of Policy and Planning within CHIP. In this position you will provide administrative and managerial work directing human services programs within the Department of Human Services. Your duties will include reviewing and evaluating program objectives and policies determining and implementing program policies and writing and reviewing policy and procedure manuals and other documentation. You can expect to maintain a knowledge of current social economic and health problems and review available resources as they relate to the program. Additionally you will develop initiatives and recommendations for program and budgetary modification as well as prepare and review the annual CHIP report.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of professional experience in the development implementation or evaluation of a human services program or program operations including two years of consultative or supervisory experience;or
- An equivalent combination of professional experience and training that includes two years of professional consultative or supervisory experience in the development implementation or evaluation of a human services program or program operations.

Legal Requirements:
- This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment. Under Pub 1075 acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived worked and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.
