Overview
Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a System Engineer. The Systems Engineer is accountable for the design implementation and maintenance of intricate system infrastructure while ensuring the optimal performance security and scalability of enterprise systems and solutions.
Responsibilities

System Design and Implementation:
- Design system architecture solutions
- Plan and implement system infrastructure
- Develop technical specifications
- Configure enterprise systems
- Integrate new technologies
- Optimize system performance
- Create automation solutions
- Implement security measures
Technical Leadership:
- Lead technical projects
- Provide engineering solutions
- Develop system standards
- Guide implementation teams
- Evaluate new technologies
- Design system improvements
- Create technical documentation
- Mentor technical staff
Infrastructure Management:
- Manage enterprise systems
- Monitor system performance
- Implement high availability
- Configure disaster recovery
- Manage system security
- Coordinate system upgrades
- Troubleshoot complex issues
- Maintain system documentation
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Required certifications including Security CE. Other certifications desired but not required such as:
- SecurityX / CASP
- CCNP Security
- CISA
- FITSP-O
- GICSP
- SSCP
- 7 years of systems engineering experience
- Relevant certifications may be helpful such as:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions (MCSE)
- AWS Solutions Architect
- VMware VCP/VCDX
- Red Hat Certified (RHCE)
Clearance Requirements: Active Secret security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground MD
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $126000.00 to $155000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
