interactive investor the UKs second largest direct-to-consumer investment platform enables individuals in the UK to plan save and invest in the way that works for them.
Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers enabling them to create value for their customers.
Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market through either public markets or alternative asset classes.
About the Department
The Client Domain is responsible for shaping data capabilities that drive client-focused outcomes. The department works closely with architects technical leads and business stakeholders to design evolve and communicate data models that underpin our digital and analytical solutions.
About the Role
As a Client Domain Architect youll play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape that powers our client-facing solutions. Youll work across squads and with Technical Leads to design guide and evolve scalable secure and forward-thinking architectures that align with the Client domains strategic goals. This is a leadership role that blends deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Technical Leads and business leaders to design scalable secure solutions aligned with strategic objectives and identify opportunities for innovation.
Define and maintain the Client Domains architecture roadmap ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and internal standards.
Act as a bridge between the Client Domain and the wider technology organisation fostering cohesive integrated solutions.
Conduct regular reviews of the technology landscape to ensure compliance resilience and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams and lead the evaluation and selection of technology vendors and platforms.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
A strong advocate for Agile methodologies and client-centric design.
Have a solid grasp of architecture frameworks and methodologies.
Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Bring a flexible pragmatic approach to delivering value through technology.
Demonstrate strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Stay curious about industry trends and emerging technologies.
