Job Description
The role is to provide cycle/scooter training to pupils and adults in Thurrock to Bikeability standards to enable them to cycle safely and to promote cycling by improving skills/knowledge/attitudes/behaviour and hazard awareness.
Experience with children is desired but not essential. You should have good communication skills with children of all ages and adults alike be confident in riding a bike yourself and passionate about promoting sustainable travel.
The role requires you to have your own vehicle large enough to transport a fold up bicycle as you will be travelling to different schools on a daily basis.
Full training will be given. Equipment and uniform will be supplied.
DBS: A Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Enhanced level with Childrens Barred List will be required for this post.
