Job Description
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our clients office (155 Wellington St W) at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must Have Skills:
Self-starter with the ability to break down assignments and follow through with minimal guidance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to generate high-quality product (low re-work/errors).
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong Data Analysis and Data Manipulation Skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel and Access.
8 years experience working as a Business Analyst supporting the delivery of Finance Reporting solutions with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Data Analysis capacity.
Proficient experience with Software Development LifeCycle process Iterative Waterfall and IT terms and methods.
Strong SQL skills ability to create and run SQLs on databases in order to retrieve and compare data for gap analysis
Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
Ability to guide and recommend solutions based on the analysis (business team is new and required much guidance from IT team)
Experience with loan loss provisioning impaired loans
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with web-based Financial Reporting application.
Experience with Risk reporting and/or credit risk analytics.
Experience at a large banking or financial services organization
