Who are you
A highly organized motivated individual with dynamic interpersonal skills. This individual will be an integral part of our accounting team responsible for payment processing cash receipts processing journal entries monthly reconciliations and reporting.
The Role
Process vendor set ups and wire payments
Process accounts payable invoices for approval and payment
Research and resolve accounts payable issues directly with vendors and/or accounts payable team
Prepare journal entries
Support operational accounting team in settling and flashing events into Rome/Salesforce
Support festival accounting team in preparing processing and tracking payments for artists and suppliers
Support operational accounting team in reconciling P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
Support show accounting in compiling necessary show file documentation
Maintain compliance with internal controls
Month-End tasks as assigned
Ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements:
Strong organizational & time management abilities detail oriented
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
1-2 years general accounting experience
Ability to multi-task proactively solve problems and meet time-critical deadlines
Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
