The Michigan Townships Association (MTA) was formed in 1953 as a unified voice representing Michigans township governments. We are a voluntary membership 501(c) 4 not-for-profit corporation serving the government closest to the people. We are the largest community of local government officials in the state and one of the largest in the nation. More than 99% of Michigan townships are Association members signifying their commitment to the continuation of strong vibrant local government. We are seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Executive Director of the Association.

About the Role of Executive Director
The Executive Director is responsible for planning directing and overseeing the effective management of operations and the advancement of the Associations mission and strategic objectives. They work closely with the Board to facilitate the ongoing development implementation and evolution of the Associations overarching mission coordinating staff and resources to advance the Associations goals achieve key objectives and continually improve programs and services for members.
